Fiesta yellow colors
Yellow is the brightest thing on a Fiesta table, and that is measurable rather than poetic: of all the saturated hues, yellow is the lightest, which is why it catches the eye first and why it is the conventional choice for warning signage. On a plate that brightness cuts both ways. A yellow charger lifts a dim winter table and can flatten a delicate one. Fiesta has made six, from the original Yellow of 1936 through to Daffodil, which arrived in 2017 and is the only one currently in production.
Fiesta has used 6 yellow glazes since 1936, starting with Yellow, 1936-1969 and most recently Daffodil in 2017. 1 is in production today: Daffodil. They run from Yellow, 1987-2002 at the light end to Marigold at the dark end; Yellow, 1936-1969 has had the longest run of any yellow.

Yellow is Fiesta's own grouping, not a measurement. Sorted by hue angle instead, some colors land in a different band than their name suggests. See the whole palette sorted by the rainbow →
