Fiesta blue colors

Blue is the family Fiesta has treated most seriously. Eleven colors since Cobalt in 1936, and three in production simultaneously - Turquoise, Lapis and Sky - which is more than any other family currently holds. Blue is the most widely preferred color in most cross-cultural surveys, and it does something specific on a table: it is the one common hue that rarely appears in food, so whatever you serve reads as separate from the plate beneath it. Fiesta's blues run the full range, from Twilight's near-navy to Sky's pale wash. Turquoise is the only color made in both the vintage and Post 86 eras that is still in production today.

Fiesta has used 11 blue glazes since 1936, starting with Blue (Cobalt) and most recently Sky in 2024. 3 are in production today: Turquoise, Lapis, Sky. They run from Sky at the light end to Blue (Cobalt) at the dark end; Turquoise has had the longest run of any blue.
