Lavender is Fiesta's ninetieth-anniversary color, introduced in 2026, and it's the newest thing in the line. It's a soft, grayed purple with very little saturation - a complete change of direction from the deep Mulberry it followed, about ΔE 42 away. Purple is Fiesta's rarest family, only five colors in ninety years, and this is the lightest of them by a distance. It arrived as Sunflower and Twilight both retired. It's a quiet color that works as a bridge between stronger pieces, and it sits closest to Lilac, the scarce 1993 purple, of anything the company has made.

Lavender is soft enough to sit beside almost anything. It works as a bridge between two stronger colors that would otherwise argue. Its mid lightness (L* 63) means most food reads against it without either washing out or vanishing.
